Song of the Son

You can find Him amongst the
furred thatch of a mother mountain
dusted with tiny green ears
eagerly bending to the glorious
full song of the waxing Son.

He (who is risen,
singing, breathing,
dancing, healing,
loving, planning,
dreaming, creating,
cleansing, redeeming)
is a Song
of full greenness
springing forth
fresh, renewed and abundant.

This is He
who hungers for
the hearts
of humanity.

He
(who is Risen)
lights dark shadows
from every angle,
seeking fertile fields,
black and sweet,
where pale silent ears
are opening,
softly,
slowly,
embracing the
Song of the Son.

Psalm

I wandered the desert
and thirsted
and You gave me drink.

No one called me friend
or knew my name
but You knew my heart.

My father left me,
my mother turned her face from me
but You were there.

You carried me through
fires I never saw,
when I feared the road ahead
You moved mountains from my path.

You are my high place,
my refuge, a shield in the night.

To those You love You lend grace
and Your blessings are poured out
upon the earth.

My tongue shall praise You,
my voice shall lift Your name
in the holy places by the mountain.

Your love moves upon my heart
like a breath on the water
and I sing Hosanna to Your name.
